Candace Day is the founder of Art Confidence. She was born in London to Jamaican parents. Presently, she lives
and works in Romford, Essex.
Candace’s art career has its genesis on the streets of New York City — selling her works to eager buyers in
Greenwich Village. After living, travelling and working in the US, Candace’s original artwork has sold in the UK,
the US, Canada and the West Indies.
Candace describes herself as a versatile artist with a keen interest in all subjects, cultures and eras. She believes
that a painting should be a vehicle of escapism for the viewer.
From the subject matter, style and quality of work on this site it is evident that Miss Day dedicates herself with
full devotion to bringing contemporary fine art in her own unique style.
